Systems Engineer V&V
Umbrella – £70/Per Hour Inside IR35
37 hours; FT Hybrid 3 DPW onsite
Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (V&V) to join the Land Ceptor Functional Development team. Supporting the NAREW export programme for Poland, the British Army, and other key defence contracts, you will play a vital role in the verification, validation and certification of the Land Ceptor weapon system. Working within the design team, you will ensure functional requirements are met, support compliance and certification activities, and contribute to the delivery of a proven air defence capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the certification team to capture and review evidence, conduct technical investigations and support the delivery of Certificate of Designs to enable customer deliveries.
- Reviewing technical documentation in support of functional evidence
- Review and agree Design Verification Plans (DVP)
- Design reconciliation activities associated with design change and obsolescence
- Work within a multi-discipline engineering team (e.g. Systems, mechanical, electrical, software etc…)
- Identify verification gaps, track issues, and support corrective actions.
- Support certification activities by preparing and reviewing compliance documentation, verification reports, and evidence
What do you need?:
- Experience of IBM Rational Doors Classic
- Proven ability to analyse evidence and assess compliance against requirements.
- Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes and methodologies.
- Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification evidence.
