This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the maintenance and calibration of bespoke test equipment used within a highly technical manufacturing environment. Working within a small Control Team, you will be responsible for managing spares, supporting SAP processes, producing technical reports, and helping to ensure critical equipment remains operational.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control critical spares, including electronic components, service kits, connector savers, and commercial off-the-shelf items.
  • Create and maintain material masters in SAP, providing system support and documentation for control team activities.
  • Produce, manage, and track calibration and service kits, ensuring accurate stock control.
  • Establish and maintain stock levels with engineering teams, including min/max requirements and replenishment planning.
  • Organise stock holdings, conduct regular stock checks, and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Raise, order, and track stock requirements to support operational needs.
  • Use Jira to monitor, communicate, and track the status of parts, stock, and team activities.
  • Work closely with engineers and the Control Team Lead to minimise production downtime through effective management of critical spares and calibration assets.

What Do You Need?:
  • Experience managing spare parts, stock control, or inventory within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (Systems Applications and Products).
  • Experience creating and managing material masters and stock levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across departments.
  • Knowledge of calibration processes would be beneficial but is not essential.
